Appearence is very common thing in our day to day life, people judge you by some percentage by your appearence, if you are unknown to them! So always have good dressing sense, if you dont know how to dress, then please google it, various places have different quality of dressing, same dressing style does not work.

Person represents his/her character in multiple ways, one among those is "Speaking". A good leader will always have this quality by birth or by training. This is the must quality which every person in the world requires. For example will take one scenario. "Sales person goes to client to get a project."
When a person goes to client and asks for the project, if person uses words like "only we can", "we cannot", "it is impossible" kinds of words, then client will have clear impression that, this person is over confident or impossible person to deal with. And client silently tries to escape. Remember the word "impossible" is for human capabilites not for any work. So always stay from these kind of words, instead you can give suggestions like "well this feature is possible but we need some more time to achieve this" so here client thinks that it is possible so he can grant some time to do. And later if it is not possible to achieve the task which you promissed then you can give exact challenges faced to the client so that he can think that this is quite impossible to achieve in this span of time(Even client is human being remember!) or if you know the challenges before then you can explain to the client in realy time scenario.
When you get hired for the job that means you have made half way success to your career. Remaining is to prove what you have promissed in interview. This is the time to show that you are good and trust worthy.
When working for a company try to work better and better this intern gains respect from the colleagues and with the higher level as well.
Believe it or not many will respect for good work. Show your capabilities and potential by working. And try to highlight slowly to your colleagues or manager that you have achived this task this way and it improved the quality of s/w by this.
Above points listed are to prove that you are capable, but that is not efficient in your career, in career what is required is how you behave with your team mates.

It is good you give your point but also give place for others point as well, think from others perspective also, might be he is right or wrong, try to correct in polite and in low tone if possible, else quitely ignore.
If you take high pitch then he may give up but you will end up lossing him permanently. Project or company will not run by single person, so you need people and friends whom you can work wth.
So always have quality of talk with colleagues this brings a good relations amongs you and intern it develops super power called "Patience".
Yes! this is the mistake most often knowingly or un knowingly people will do. They always want to win, no matter what, I have to win!.
No body likes to lose okay! When starting a conversation of any matter if you try to show that what ever you say is correct then the conversation turns into "commands" "well nobody likes to obey others command!!" dont let it happen, if you do so, then the other person will try to escape from the talk if he is intelligent then from next time he makes sure that he will not meet you accendentally also in the office. And if he meets also he will make sure that conversation is small as possible.
And you will end up lossing a colleague and he makes sure that his friends also to get rid of you. Then your life will be like "Robotic" go work and come back home. Remember colleagues are 1st step to your success, if you cant win them then you cannot win higher level.
Always try to be friendly, remember this conversation will not become rules, knowledge is gained by talking. Show respect to other talks also. Obeying is your personal interest nobody asks you to accept. So chill, life is to make happy not miserable!
When you work with a team, promises will always comes into picture no matter how but it will come. For example.
You have a promissed your friend that you will help him in his task, so if your busy with your task or for some reason you had forgotten then when you remember go and tell him and apologise him, saying that you were busy or forgotten. This makes that person to have some good understanding on you.
We always need help of others, "unfortunately we are not born with super powers!!"
It is often seen in team meetings that freshers or mid level employees tries to give suggestions like a commands! bang!! "dont do please!" to higher level person in order to show off or impress them, actually it will be taken as negative attitude.
If they ask you for the suggestion then give else dont, if you find some where in the meeting is wrong, then write a formal mail to the team saying that "Sir, I think we can take this route rather than which came up in meeting" and make sure you show strong points supporting your answer so that they can say, yes you are right. Emails will always be proof of your work.
If you have too many suggestions then prioritize properly, dont just jump in say what ever you want to say. For example.
You want to suggest some coding/implementing practices, so dont put this topic in requirement collection phase because it makes no sense. And it makes other person that you are not smart enough to decide things.
Before you speak, first speak or write it somewhere and read that stuff multiple times and try to figure out, is it the best point you can suggest or is it best time to ask for.
You know what human brains are intelligent enough to judge. so give it a option/time to think! dont just rush!
Questions or suggestion shows the quality of a person. Smart person will have quality of questions and suggestion. This makes colleagues or managers to have additional importance on you.
Please dont do this!! People often think that the one who makes laugh is well recognized. No it is not, in fact it will turn negative, then people will call you, to make happy when they are exausted. Dont become joker!
You can crack joke, but make sure it is not in highly professional meetings like, manager, client or project level meetings.
You can crack jokes with your family or friends in separate place or out of business place.
It is not like, you know everything, you often need help from others too. Accept this fact, if you try to be individual then you might not work, as a team always, people who does not take help, 99% this people will not help others too this is the fact which I have faced in my career. Dont be one among them.
When you ask help from others it brings some kind good understanding between you two, yes better understading, better work relation. Ha Make sure you dont ask stupid helps like, "Please can you do this funtioanlity or work for me. No no, help should be in the form of guidence not physical or more work involved" you first try, if not possible then ask help.
Remember if you ask stupid helps then one day you will negative reaction from the colleagues.
Please try to get knowledge as much as possible in appropriate time. If you try to discuss un related topics in the business hours then you will loose your importance in the team, not everybody interested in your topic, if you try force then you might recieve -ve impact or still worse you will get response like "boss can you allow me to do my work, will speak about this topic in lunch hours" then from the next time you will not dare to speak him/her.
Make sure of time and situation when you speak. This helps your brain to judge or work in a controlled way. When ever possible just try to collect data(knowledge), no matter if it is a worth or not, but some day it might help you.
Our brain is designed in such a way that, if you give two options to it, it will tell you which one to choose. So how does that option come? well that is called knowledge. Seek it, just seek it!

They always try to show employee low and less importance at the time of appraisals. Yes this is true!
You know what, a good employee will not always look for the money. He also looks for the quality of respect given to him. You may put him down and show him less importance for just sake of small appraisals or money, he may one day quite the job and go, you may not realize this.
Company will grow by quality of work, this quality of work is not simply gained or extracted by a person. Some well said, "If you want butter then you have to pay for it! you will not get it for free!"
many does not understand this. "Success does not defines you", "A person can be defined by himself or by 'god', so dont expect you to be defined by someone, nobody likes to praise you". Have trust in your work, actions and move on with the life. Your life will not stop if you're not successful!!!
Well today you might not be successful or winner, some day you will!! have trust in you, dont give up! keep trying and do your best, you're the owner of yourself, don't let others to control you!
